My sculptural work is closely informed by my background in graphic design, where concepts such as form, balance, and visual hierarchy guide my approach to physical materials. Working primarily with wax and wood, I create pieces that range from functional objects, including hand-poured candles, to more experimental sculptural forms. Wax allows me to explore transformation, light, and impermanence, while woodworking introduces structure, precision, and craftsmanship. By translating two-dimensional design principles into three-dimensional objects, my work bridges design and sculpture through a shared focus on intentionality, process, and material exploration.
